Our Story — The Soap Boys of Ever & Ember

Welcome to Ever & Ember, where bubbles meet heart and a good bar of soap comes with a story.

We’re Philip, Eric, and our son Jacob—a proud LGBTQ+ family lovingly nicknamed “The Soap Boys” by our good friend Beth (and it just stuck!). What started as a small passion for natural, feel-good products quickly turned into our mission: to curate the best soaps, lotions, deodorants and other self care products from small makers across the country and share them with people who value quality, kindness, and a bit of fun in their daily routine.

At Ever & Ember, “Ever” stands for our grounded, natural foundation—the simple, wholesome things that keep us steady. “Ember” is that spark of joy we hope lights up your day each time you use one of our products. Together, it’s our way of saying: be grounded, but always glow.

We don’t make our own products—we curate them from talented small-batch artisans who share our love for pure ingredients, ethical sourcing, and unforgettable scents. Every bar, lotion, and balm in our shop is chosen with care (and usually tested by one of us first—Jacob has the cleanest hands and is the best smelling 8th grader in his class and maybe Florida!).

As a family, we believe self-care should never be boring or complicated. It should make you feel good inside and out, reflect your personality, and celebrate a world full of diversity, color, and love.
